What a Week!

It's been quite a week and I'm still not caught up. In a nutshell, here's what I've been dealing with. Details to follow:
Mom had to go to the emergency clinic on Sunday the 17th and then we went the following day to her regular doctor. All is fine now, so thank goodness it was nothing serious. She was having stomach cramping and the pain was causing nausea. She blamed it on having an overload of food that she probably shouldn't have been eating which included a lot of greasy, fried food and perhaps too much snack food. She spent most of Saturday night throwing up and she couldn't get a good night's sleep. I knew things must have been pretty bad because she requested to go to the doctor. We both know how risky going to medical centers is at this time which is another reason why I knew she was in a lot of pain. I called up one of my coworkers to get some advice and fortunately, he and his wife knew of a couple of places we could go to get some treatment. There is an emergency medical clinic right down the street from us by our City Hall. It is kind of like a temporary medical center to give you emergency help until you are able to see your normal doctor or get to a hospital during regular hours. I'll continue this story later. But once again, Mom is fine and feeling much better. Her doctor said it was a bout with colitis.
We had a student at school test positive for Covid.
I wrote an email to the entire staff about my concerns about how the situation with this student's positive diagnosis was handled.
Sinbad had 2 nights of poop explosions. Luckily, it wasn't anything bad. He was just not finished during our walk and waited until later to do his business. But he's back under control now too.
I had a child throw up during class on Friday. Everyone said he ate too much curry rice for lunch and hopefully that's all it was.
All right...so much more to write about, but must get to bed.
