#Blogmas Day 4

I was up early this morning because I was headed to Gunma for a 10:30 am dental appointment. Luckily, I beat most of the traffic and was able to make it to Gunma by 9:30. It gave me time to run a few errands like update my Gunma Bank book and buy a few items from Besia (the Japanese version of Wal-Mart.)

My dental appointment went okay. The dental hygienist that I had suspected that I had a cavity, but after drilling and doing a few tests on the tooth, it was fine. During that time, I felt the dental chair move and it crossed my mind that it might be an earthquake. Sure enough, it was! Apparently they had a 4.0 earthquake the day before. Anyways, other than a few startled patients, everything was okay.

After the dentist, I went to Ota's AEON Mall to pick up a few supplies for Sinbad. I decided to eat lunch at Stamina Buffet in Tatebayashi which is located right before the onramp to the expressway. This family-style restaurant buffet gives you an all-you-can-eat selection of yakiniku (BBQ meat and veggies), sushi, ramen, udon, salad, pasta, ice cream, drinks, desserts and the best part, cotton candy! The price is quite reasonable and you pay according to how long you intend to stay. The cheapest price is for 90 minutes and the maximum alloted time is 150 minutes. If you stay longer than 150 minutes, they will add on to your bill. This is mainly to prevent people from staying all day with unlimited food at their convenience. Another bonus for me is the discount for those 60 years of age and older. *woohoo* I have no shame in taking advantage of senior discounts!

On the way home, I stopped at the Hasuda Parking area which is one of the nicest parking areas I've ever been to. I made a You Tube video of it a few months ago. I've added it down below. Last week, Sinbad and I enjoyed the dog run there. But there weren't any other dogs around! Today there were several but Sinbad wasn't with me today.

I had a great day off, but I have so much work to do. I'm trying to finish editing a video and then I guess I better get to bed. So good night for now!
